WE CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR BUSINESS AND KEY ISSUES IN OUR REGION

Today, the Toowoomba Chamber provided a submission to Toowoomba Regional Council, on its draft Corporate Plan.  A Corporate Plan is designed to provide the community what Toowoomba Regional Council’s purpose, goals, and key priorities over the next four years.

Support Small Business

Does it come as a surprise to you, that being a Small Business Friendly Council was not identified as a key priority for Toowoomba Regional Council over the next four years?

In fighting and advocating for business, we assert, based on our research, that the Corporate Plan MUST, amongst other things, have as specific key priorities relating to:

  • housing; and
  • implementing the Small Business Friendly Charter, signed by Toowoomba Regional Council.
