Business@Dusk | April | Toowoomba Grammar School
ONE WEEK TO GO!!
Join the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce and the University of Southern Queensland for Business@Dusk, the city’s premier networking event. Toowoomba Grammar School will host the event in April.
In 2025, Toowoomba Grammar School will mark its 150th anniversary by undertaking significant capital projects and educational advancements. The School’s history of educational innovation continues with new initiatives in technical, agricultural and environmental education.
This year, progress has been made on the new Design, Engineering and Technology Centre commencing shortly. These facilities have been developed to meet workforce demands, preparing students for a technology-driven global economy and addressing increased student interest in these areas.
The new facilities will include engineering workshops, robotics labs, a VR/XR laboratory, a 180-seat lecture theatre, and dedicated spaces for agricultural science and wet labs, agribusiness, manufacturing, and construction. Students will acquire practical skills through subjects like metalwork, building, and engineering pathways certification.
TGS is creating new curriculum incentives centred on entrepreneurship skills, aiming to prepare students for leadership roles in agriculture, environment and sustainability sectors through industry connections and addressing global challenges. This effort demonstrates a commitment to offering diverse educational pathways and future-orientated opportunities.
Toowoomba Grammar School is committed to offering students exceptional opportunities for innovation locally, nationally, and globally.
Join us for the April Business@Dusk, where we will celebrate the Toowoomba Grammar School’s remarkable 150-year journey and witness the exciting progress of these groundbreaking initiatives! Purchase your tickets today to be part of this historic milestone in Toowoomba’s educational landscape.
