On Tuesday night, at Wellcamp Airport, with host, Toowoomba Hall of Fame Inductee, Mort & Co, the Business Excellence Awards 2024 was launched and it’s all about EXCELLENCE, the quality of being outstanding or extremely good.
This prestigious event is a showcase of our rich and diverse businesses. Highlighted by a robust economy based on a range of industries, including mining and manufacturing industries, robust agricultural and horticultural industries, a growing hospitality and tourism market, a large health and wellness sector and a diverse and growing small business sector.

The Business Excellence Awards 2024 are designed to celebrate the efforts and achievements of our diverse and dedicated business community and recognise their contribution, not only to economic vitality but to creating a strong, healthy, innovative, vibrant, and nation-leading regional community that is the Toowoomba Region.

With the Expression of Interest process in 2023 resulting in Little Pig Consulting being awarded the naming rights badge; two new categories introduced being Businesswomen of the Year and Arts and Culture; and an excursion for two to, up for grabs to visit the homegrown exporter Milton and King at their premises in Dallas, Texas, drawn at the Gala Awards Dinner, the Business Excellence Awards is well and truly upon us.
