Influence
It is estimated that more than 98% of all businesses are small, and about 50% of our population works in a small businesses. So, when small business hurts our whole community hurts too.
With approximately 17,000 businesses, small business is a big deal in the Toowoomba region. We strive to create a turbocharged region where businesses expand and more money flows through the local economy.
With input from business and the wider community, the Toowoomba Chamber has a core function to influence policy at local, state, and Australian government levels, seeking better conditions for small businesses.
