Professional Bio for Amelia Dobson

 

Amelia is a senior leader with Suncorp and is currently the Area Manager for South West Queensland for Specialised Lending. Her key skills include challenging the status quo, influencing with impact, aligning business with overarching group strategy to achieve desired outcomes and engaging a team to execute.

 

In addition to Amelia’s 10 years of experience in the financial services she has graduated with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Queensland and holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Business Law, obtained at the University of Southern Queensland. She also mentors at Flexi School which aims to break the cycle of disengagement from education to increase young people’s opportunity to enter the economy and contribute to our community.  

Professional Bio for Alison Kennedy

January 2015, Alison and her  family moved to Toowoomba so that she could accept and take on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation. With an extensive background in Relationship Management, Alison's strength for the Hospital Foundation has been her strong skills in sponsorship, corporate relations and increased donor numbers. She has been the creator behind some exciting new events and has also been instrumental in assisting to build the Foundation’s business base.

Alison is an enthusiastic go getter that won't take no for an answer! She is self-motivated and consumed by being the best she can be every day. Her objectives are to be honest, in control and successful through hard work and integrity.

Professional Bio for Isaac Moody

Creative, determined and innovative are ways to describe Prethink Group managing director Isaac Moody. Coming from a background in major event management, Isaac founded Prethink Group 6 years ago, which is a group of small businesses including Toowoomba’s very own historic Gabbinbar Homestead.  He is extremely passionate about technological innovation, exceptional service, strategic marketing and fostering a positive staff culture which aims to set others up for success.

A dedicated family man and father of 5 children, Isaac maintains extensive community involvement both locally and nationally in addition to his business interests. He is currently a Director of Compassion Australia which provides holistic child development to 100,000 of the world’s poorest children.

 

Professional Bio for Kurt Schulte-Schrepping

As the co-director for Toowoomba based security company Big Dog Security, Kurt Schult-Schrepping is a local businessman that employs over 80 staff within the Toowoomba Region. Big Dog Security has been responsible for injecting hundreds of thousands of dollars per year into the local economy, through their involvement with the ever-growing Toowoomba and surrounds business district. On a personal level he is extremely active within the Toowoomba community taking part in:
