The Future Leaders Committee is dedicated to supporting future Toowoomba business leaders.

Membership of Future Leaders is restricted to business people aged 18-35 years and offers important networking events. Members gain confidence and exposure throughout the business community with a focus on mentoring, professional and personal development opportunities.

This Committee’s role is to create an annual schedule of events and networking opportunities that will enhance the profile of the Chamber, and add value to its members and sponsors. In addition to overseeing all events, the members of this committee also ensure that each event is conducted professionally and at neutral cost to the Chamber.

POLICY AND ADVOCACY

The primary role of this Committee is to research and develop policy advice for the Chamber Board to consider advocating on behalf of members. Policy matters that have recently been developed include; the Toowoomba City Centre Master Plan, Toowoomba Airport, Inland Rail Link, and local development charges.
