Energy Summit 2012 promises to be a sell-out!

Exciting times ahead with planning for the 15/16 March Energy Summit 2012 in full swing.

The Committee has convened a number of meetings and resolved a target list of thirty energy/mining leaders to present at the Summit. Thus far Alfonso Vega de Seoane Pallares from Abengoa Solar, Warren Wilmington from Easternwell and Jamie Anderson from Mastertek are confirmed and negotiations are continuing with a number of other Australian and North American energy/mining leaders.

Venue for the Summit is the Bridge Street, Toowoomba Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE (SQIT) using the lecture theatre for plenary sessions and the “Triple Room” as the Exhibition Hall where all breaks will be taken. It is likely that other SQIT campuses will be connected to the Summit electronically meaning that delegates can participate from afar as well as here in Toowoomba. SQIT can accommodate 200 delegates however it is likely that many more will register using the remote connection option. Committee is currently considering venues for the 15 March “Prospector’s Dinner” with preference likely to be an industrial setting consistent with the nature of the Summit.

A large number of sponsorship/exhibition options are available and companies with an interest in investing in the event are invited to contact me at greg@toowoombachamber.com.au or mobile 0414 783 343.

A 12-page Summit brochure is currently being developed and it will be distributed nationally as well as to our 3,000 strong email database.
