Networking is a cost-effective way of growing and promoting your business. The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce & Industry believes that strong networks are fundamental to business success.
In an effort to support and connect business people, the Chamber holds regular networking events throughout the year. The events offer insights from inspirational speakers, fabulous food and company and the chance to promote your business, raise your profile and make new contacts at the breakfasts and lunches.
Regular events include
- Business at Dusk – a relaxed event held quarterly that provides prime networking opportunities. The more relaxed atmosphere promotes the opportunity for social interaction and an occasion to share ideas and information with other members; bring plenty of business cards and have a goal to hand them all out.
- Monthly Events – Held on the fourth Friday of the month, the events are either a breakfast or lunch meeting where high calibre, informative and interesting speakers provide valuable advice on improving business, and information on current issues. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with like-minded business operators. These events attract about 150 business leaders.
- Special Events – key among these is the Business Excellence Awards, an excellent opportunity for sponsorship and business exposure.
Hundreds of Toowoomba business people gather at each event to make the connections that can lead to new business opportunities.
Breakfasts start at 6.45, finishing at 8.30.
Lunch runs from 11.45 to 2.00pm.
