As a member, you can attend a number of networking activities as a guest of the Chamber, or for a nominal fee. These activities are held regularly, and provide you with an opportunity to mix with other Chamber members, to share information and make valuable business contacts.
Your Chamber hosts a monthly Business Breakfast or Lunch at Picnic Point Function Centre. High profile, educational speakers frequently attract in excess of 150 guests and offer opportunities for members to continually expand their business networks and to learn valuable business skills and lessons at the same time. These events are open to the public and members are encouraged to bring along clients and colleagues
The Chamber also hosts a quarterly Business at Dusk networking event strictly for members only. These are free networking events that encourage members to network in a fun, informal environment.
The Toowoomba Chronicle, a long-time Chamber supporter, provides a generous rates package for new financial Chamber members. As well as providing the Chamber with a subsidised publicity package for the next 12 months, the Chronicle is offering all new members a unique small business advertising rates package. If you have an issue with government, your Chamber can assess your situation and offer advice. Should it be of benefit, lobbying under the auspices of the Chamber may be undertaken.
Through the Chamber’s affiliation with CCIQ, all members can access a wide range of training programs at discounted members rates. These include management, workplace health and safety, professional development, marketing and customer service training.
