You are invited to attend Business at Breakfast with the Honourable Lawrence Springborg MP.
Topic: The Future of Toowoomba and Darling Downs Health
The Honourable Lawrence Springborg MP was first elected to State Parliament as the Member for Carnarvon in 1989. Subsequent electoral redistributions saw him elected as the Member for Warwick and then as the Member for Southern Downs, the seat he represents today.
At just twenty-one, he became the youngest person ever elected to the Queensland Parliament. His election in 1989 demonstrated the non-Labor side of politics was serious about empowering young people to have a direct say on how Queensland should grow and prosper.
Mr Springborg was instrumental in the creation of the Liberal National Party. When the party won government on 24 March 2012 Mr Springborg was appointed Minister for Health.

Greg Johnson, CEO
